Activity Background

We are thrilled to announce that the "Web 3 & AI Innovation Challenge" hackathon, co-hosted by Dev3 and Moledao, will merge with C² Ventures' "Code Craft Hackathon". With this merger, our prize pool has seen a substantial increase, with outstanding projects sharing a prize pool valued at up to 60,000 USDT! This is the greatest encouragement and reward for the hard work and innovation of all participants. We look forward to every talented and passionate innovator joining this grand tech celebration. Organizers

Dev3

Dev3 is a Web3 developer platform that evaluates software developers' skills and experience based on GitHub commits. With a database of over 60 million developers, they provide convenient talent matching for project owners. Dev3 also offers AI-powered search and outreach tools to help developers establish their Developer DID.

Moledao

A developer community dedicated to connecting and fostering budding entrepreneurs, facilitating collaborative efforts towards building the Web3 ecosystem. On September 10th, we will host a one-day roadshow and hackathon demo day at the Vanguard Building in Singapore. The Vanguard Building serves as the Singapore office for both Moledao and Bybit - positioning itself as the Web 3 hub of Singapore, where frequent web3 educational workshops and hackathons are organized.

C² Ventures:

C² Ventures is an early-stage Web3 investment firm, founded by Ciara Sun. C² Ventures enables and supports builders with the capital and operational expertise needed to build the next generation of Web3 primitives. We leverage the network of operators that we've built over many years to readily access promising deals and opportunities, while also enabling synergies and leverage throughout our portfolio.

Competition Themes

Theme1: Infrastucture

  1. Scalability challenges: Developing solutions to increase the transaction throughput and processing capability of blockchain networks to achieve efficient large-scale transaction processing and data storage.
  2. Security and privacy protection: Constructing blockchain infrastructure with heightened security and privacy measures to ensure the safety of participants' data and transactions and provide anonymity protection for users.
  3. Decentralized identity authentication: Designing innovative decentralized identity verification mechanisms to ensure the verification of participants' identities and the accuracy of data, offering users a convenient and secure identity authentication solution.
  4. Cross-chain interoperability: Building solutions that support interoperability across different blockchain platforms, enabling seamless flow of assets and data, and promoting interconnectedness between different blockchain ecosystems.

Theme 2: Web3 Dapps

RWA & RWAFi:

Participants can explore the following areas:

  1. Digitalization and securitization of RWA: Investigate how to digitize real-world assets and transform them into encrypted assets for easier management and trading.
  2. Decentralized trading of RWA: Design decentralized trading platforms or protocols, allowing investors to directly participate in the trading of real-world assets, achieving higher liquidity and accessibility.
  3. Identity and verification of RWA: Research and implement trustworthy identity verification solutions for RWA to ensure the authenticity and ownership of assets.
  4. Measurement and valuation of RWA: Explore how to accurately measure and value real-world assets, providing investors with reliable references and decision-making bases.
LSD & LSDFi:

Participants can delve into the following areas:

  1. LSDFi protocols and platforms: Design and build protocols or platforms that support LSDFi, allowing users holding POS tokens to connect their collateral liquidity with the DeFi ecosystem.
  2. Tokenization of liquidity: Investigate how to transform POS tokens into liquidity tokens for trading in liquidity pools and earn profits through rewards for liquidity providers.
  3. LSDFi strategies and tools: Design strategies and tools for users offering LSDFi, providing methods to maximize profits and manage risks.
  4. Cross-chain LSDFi: Contemplate how to foster cross-chain interoperability of LSDFi among different blockchain networks, facilitating the liquidity collateral and trading of different POS tokens.

In addition, participants can also choose among AI, Web3 Gaming, DeFi, Metaverse, ZK and L3 Modular Blockchain to encourage developers in each track to actively innovate.

9.10 Hackathon Demo Day Schedule

9.11-14 Project Refinement

From September 11th to 14th, participating projects can refine their works based on the review results and feedback with the assistance of our mentor team. Our mentor team comprises top-tier organizations and projects such as Orderly Network, Layerzero Labs, Starknet, Scroll, and Aptos. They will provide guidance at any time to help participants shape their projects.

9.15 Final Round

On September 15th, the final presentation and evaluation will take place. The judging panel for the finals includes prominent figures from top-tier organizations and projects: Gabby Dizon, Co-founder of YGG; Thanh Le, Founder of Coin98; Yawn Rong, Co-founder of FindSatoshi Lab; Bryan Pellegrino, Co-founder and CEO of LayerZero Labs; Andrei Grachev, Partner at DWF; and Jenny Cheng, Vice President of Animoca Ventures.

Participation Rules

  • Submission deadline for code and PPT: Determined by schedule, no late submissions/modifications are allowed.
  • Workload assessment criterion: No assigning work to non-team members.
  • Team size: 1-5 members.
  • Original projects required.

Evaluation Criteria

  • Project Innovation: Uniqueness and novelty of functionalities.
  • Technical Abilities: Ratings based on team's technical capabilities.
  • Business Model: Potential for filling industry gaps, wide user or market adoption.
  • Product Design: Ratings based on product and design sensibility.
  • Project Completeness: Functionality of dapps

Our prize pool is a total of 60,000 USDT, which will be awarded to the winning project as decided by the judging panel on the final competition day, September 15th. The winning team will receive:
